We are in search of an entrepreneurial business leader to assume the role of President/CEO for one of our network companies within the automotive sector.

As a president of a Teamshares network company, your primary responsibility will be to enhance profitability and effectively transition the business to employee ownership. You will engage in both operational and strategic aspects of the business, encompassing full P&L accountability, business strategy, and operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the president of a small business in the automotive sector.
  • Oversee all aspects of business strategy, operations, and P&L management.
  • Lead a seasoned team of existing employee owners.
This Role Involves:
  • Developing and guiding a team to expand the business through marketing initiatives, outreach, and the creation of new product lines and accounts.
  • Managing cash flow and bill payments, collaborating with a bookkeeper to make informed decisions regarding ongoing expenses and capital investments, optimizing efficiencies, and establishing business metrics.
  • Addressing HR personnel matters, including staff disputes, employee performance evaluations, compensation reviews, and bonuses.
  • Evaluating business methods and practices, while promoting team development and growth opportunities.
  • Building relationships with customers, vendors, and partners.
  • Collaborating with Teamshares and fellow shareholders throughout the transition to employee ownership, coaching and partnering with them to foster an owner's mindset that drives improved business outcomes and company culture.
  • Acting as a growth leader who enjoys working with employee owners to enhance company operations and expand revenue streams.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated expertise in growth and strategy, coupled with a proactive approach to cultivating external business partnerships and driving revenue growth.
  • Strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to fostering constructive collaboration among all employees.
  • Proven leadership capabilities through previous work experiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; low-ego.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for building.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills, characterized by a humble, hands-on, results-oriented attitude.
  • Business acumen and analytical skills to oversee company financials and develop effective business strategies.
  • A growth-oriented mindset with a willingness to explore new ideas and innovations; open to learning from mistakes.
  • An open and agile mindset, adept at both creative and critical thinking, with a flexible, generous spirit and a natural inclination towards action.
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to establish a clear vision, define measurable KPIs, and formulate strategies to achieve financial objectives.
  • Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in the automotive sector. Alternatively, a background in impactful operations leadership (such as military, logistics, field services, etc.) would also be highly beneficial.
