Position Overview

The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist serves as an onsite strategic partner to hiring managers and People & Culture Partners at Southwire mega sites and designated client group locations. This role encompasses the development and execution of talent acquisition strategies and programs that align with the specific needs of the business unit. The Specialist will oversee all facets of the full-cycle recruitment process, ensuring that staffing requirements are met to attract, source, and interview top-tier, diverse talent efficiently and effectively.

In this capacity, you will be responsible for identifying exceptional talent for both hourly and salaried positions within your assigned geographic area. The ideal candidate will possess expert knowledge of the recruitment process, foster trust with candidates and hiring managers, and effectively communicate the Southwire Employee Value Proposition. We seek a high-energy, top-performing recruiter with outstanding relationship management skills, who will manage the entire search process under the guidance of the Talent Acquisition Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee full-cycle recruitment for various levels of talent across multiple skill sets for Southwire mega site locations.
  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates, internal stakeholders, and business leaders to address both immediate and long-term staffing needs.
  • Act as a trusted talent advisor to organizational leaders, promoting effective collaboration and strategic recruitment to ensure alignment on candidate requirements.
  • Facilitate strategic talent acquisition discussions with hiring managers and People & Culture Business Partners, utilizing insights from internal and external talent markets to understand staffing needs aligned with business priorities.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in talent acquisition, employing a consultative approach to coach hiring managers and PCBPs on best practices throughout the recruitment process.
  • Deliver exceptional service in every interaction, demonstrating professionalism and a strong sense of urgency to consistently meet or exceed hiring targets.
  • Implement diverse sourcing strategies, including direct sourcing, referrals, social networks, and networking events, to attract both active and passive candidates. Collaborate with our Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion team to establish and execute diverse recruiting strategies.
  • Analyze and communicate recruitment performance data, identifying trends and insights to support continuous improvement efforts.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor analysis, and best practices in recruiting to ensure Southwire remains competitive in attracting top talent.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 9 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in recruiting both active and passive candidates.

Work Environment

This role requires a hybrid work arrangement, with on-site presence expected for four or more days a week.
