Wildlife Control Specialist

Arrow Exterminators is seeking to hire a full-time Wildlife Control Specialist dedicated to delivering exceptional service to our residential and commercial wildlife management clients. This role involves exclusion, trapping, and removal of wildlife. Exclusion tasks include sealing, caulking, or installing protective barriers to soffits, gutter lines, roof ridges, vents, and other potential entry points. Such work often requires climbing onto rooftops or using ladders and may involve basic carpentry skills.

A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A WILDLIFE CONTROL SPECIALIST

Your primary responsibility will be to identify, remove, prevent, or repair any damage caused by wildlife. You will begin by asking questions to understand the issues your client is facing. Effective problem-solving will enable you to conduct a thorough inspection of the client's property to identify the source of the problem. Your extensive knowledge of wildlife will assist you in determining the most effective solution and explaining the next steps to the client. After completing your service, whether it involves exclusion, trapping, or removal, you will be responsible for collecting payment and suggesting additional services that may benefit the client. Your independence and accountability will be crucial as you manage and schedule your own services.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Compliance with Drug-free Workplace Policy
  • Able to pass a pre-employment background check upon offer of employment
  • Ability to pass and maintain any state regulatory agency required licensing/certification exams
  • Able to pass internal technical exams
  • Possess a valid Driver License
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Present a professional appearance, including wearing an approved company uniform
  • Able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Willing to work evenings and weekends as necessary
