Position Overview

Role Summary

The Facilities Project Coordinator is tasked with overseeing construction initiatives within the university setting. This role operates under the guidance of the Director of Facilities Project Management, ensuring that all projects align with the institution's standards and objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Oversight: Manage and direct construction projects, focusing on MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems, renovations, and upgrades to existing facilities.
  • Planning and Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, establish timelines, and develop budgets.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure all projects adhere to relevant building codes and safety regulations.
  • Financial Management: Oversee project budgets, track expenditures, and manage financial records to ensure fiscal responsibility.
  • Communication: Maintain clear communication with all parties involved, providing updates on project status and addressing any concerns that arise.

Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of six years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient understanding of construction methodologies and materials.
