We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to support a Heavy Highway project in the Durham, NC area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for routine on-site project administration, scheduling, and engineering.
Key Responsibilities:- Review and approve pay estimates from subcontractors
- Manage project CPM schedules and communicate with subcontractors
- Prepare monthly pay estimates and cost reports for review and approval
- Supervise cost report management and lead regular review meetings
- Manage project document control systems
- Identify and resolve issues promptly
- BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy/highway construction
- Familiarity with grading, drainage, paving, bridge construction, and retaining walls
- Strong working knowledge of Excel and Word
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
