Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will:
  • Serve as the primary account manager within the life sciences division, cultivating client relationships grounded in partnership and trust.
  • Leverage your business development expertise to attract new clients and secure repeat engagements with existing ones.
  • Oversee critical strategic client initiatives.
  • Utilize your extensive cost management knowledge to ensure all project objectives are met within contractual performance standards.
  • Skillfully negotiate contract terms and commercial agreements with external stakeholders.
  • Encourage high performance and growth among your team members through exceptional mentorship and leadership.
  • Guide your team to deliver outstanding quality and client value.

  • Robust operational management experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in pre- and post-contract cost management within the life sciences or mission-critical sectors.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in construction, with prior cost management experience in the life sciences or mission-critical sectors.
  • The confidence to lead client meetings effectively.
  • A degree or equivalent experience in cost management or quantity surveying.
  • Chartered status, ideally as a member of the RICS.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • A passion for building strong relationships with your team and clients through a shared vision and a culture of openness and enjoyment.
