This pivotal role is essential for steering the project team towards timely completion while upholding high standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

The Project Leader will be accountable for:

  • Overseeing daily operations, project controls, engineering, cost management, risk assessment, and overall business management of the project.
  • Managing electrical commercial projects across key sectors such as Healthcare, Advanced Technology, Life Sciences, Higher Education, and Commercial.
  • Collaborating closely with all members of the Project Team, including Project Executives and Regional Leadership.
  • Demonstrating a clear understanding and enthusiastic alignment with the vision and mission of DPR Construction.
  • Leading and mentoring all Project Team Members, including Senior Project Engineers, Project Engineers, Superintendents, and Field Office Coordinators.
  • Ensuring comprehensive knowledge of project scope and details.
  • Managing cost control, billing, and collections for the assigned project.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for owners and architects.
  • Supporting and challenging the job site and self-perform work teams.
  • Ensuring accountability for project completion, financials, critical success factors, and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be a flexible, detail-oriented team player capable of managing multiple tasks while consistently delivering quality work and meeting deadlines.

Required Skills:

  • Exceptional listening and communication abilities.
  • Proficient in identifying and resolving complex challenges.
  • Ability to foster and maintain team morale.
  • Thorough understanding of construction processes and systems.
  • Expertise in cost estimating, budgeting, and forecasting.

Additionally, candidates should possess:

  • Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software (such as Prolog), accounting cost management software (like CMIC), and scheduling software (such as Primavera).
  • Experience managing multiple complex, highly technical projects, preferably within the core markets.
  • A Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
  • A strong work ethic coupled with a proactive attitude.
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience in Electrical Commercial Construction.
Compensation and Benefits

Anticipated starting pay range: $110,000 - $170,000.
