Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior Principal Technical Program Manager who will utilize extensive technical, procedural, and domain knowledge to steer execution across numerous interconnected projects within a program. This role is pivotal in ensuring timely delivery of outcomes, adhering to scope and budget constraints while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
In this capacity, you will:
  • Oversee the execution of software and data delivery platforms, ensuring they are service-oriented with reusable components that can be integrated across various teams.
  • Establish execution methodologies and project management practices applicable to all projects within the program.
  • Assemble project teams from both internal and external technical and functional experts, aligning with budget, scope, and timelines.
  • Direct the daily execution of multiple interdependent projects by collaborating closely with global technical teams.
  • Assist the execution team in overcoming obstacles and managing interdependencies, partnering with external technical and functional teams to ensure task completion.
  • Identify and manage project risks, scope alterations, and other exceptional events throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate stakeholder communication and progress reporting at various organizational levels, including leadership and executive teams.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science with a minimum of 10 years of experience, or a Master's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering with at least 6 years of experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in software engineering, particularly in designing and developing highly scalable web services/APIs.
  • Willingness to work from an office in the greater Seattle area.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in utilizing project management methodologies to deliver business value and drive significant organizational change.
  • Comprehensive understanding of various project and portfolio management methodologies, with a proven track record of implementing shared standards in large organizations.
  • Strong interest and knowledge in current and emerging technologies, evidenced through training, professional experience, or industry involvement.
  • Experience in specific areas of computer science such as Natural Language Understanding, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, or Deep Learning.
  • Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C/C++) and in-depth experience with Spark/Hadoop and either PyTorch or TensorFlow.
  • Familiarity with cloud technologies is advantageous.
  • Exemplary customer focus, evaluating decisions from the customer's perspective and fostering strong customer relationships.
  • Change-oriented mindset, actively promoting process improvements and effectively managing multiple priorities.
  • PMP, ScrumMaster, or related Project Management certifications are a plus.
