Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sales Representative to join our team at Wisconsin Building Supply. As a Sales Representative, you will play a critical role in assisting with new and existing customer sales, providing product support to outside sales representatives, and ensuring seamless customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries regarding product selection, placement of orders, prices, and quotations, complaints, and scheduling of deliveries and installations.
- Sales Generation: Initiate telephone calls to customers to generate sales and obtain orders from customers and sales representatives.
- Order Management: Enter work order, credit return, return authorization, pick ticket, and service request; file paperwork accordingly.
- Inventory Management: Maintain stock levels on the sales floor and in the stockroom.
- Research and Resolution: Research credits, returns, and late payments as needed, and resolve any outstanding issues.
- Special Orders: Handle special orders and advanced pricing; assist with pricing and special price lists.
- Customer Relationships: Develop and grow professional relationships with customers.
- Jobsite Issues: Resolve jobsite issues and customer problems.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED Required.
- Experience: 1-3 years in the building material industry with basic knowledge of product and application Required, and 1-3 years inside sales experience Preferred.
- Skills: Ability to operate computer, calculator, and cash register; knowledge of building supplies, applications, related equipment, and/or construction industry; good interpersonal and customer relations skills and excellent oral and written communication skills.
