Job Summary

KLA is seeking a skilled Customer Service Engineer to join our team. As a Customer Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our customers. This includes performing repair and maintenance activities on our equipment, modifying and troubleshooting complex systems, and providing guidance and technical assistance to other engineers as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, analyze, diagnose, and fix technical problems
  • Repair and modify equipment at customer facilities
  • Repair board-level problems using standard procedures, oscilloscopes, and voltmeters
  • Repair system-level problems based on KLA technical knowledge and training
  • Provide guidance and technical assistance to other engineers as needed
  • Conduct customer orientation training on all aspects of equipment user applications
  • Prepare and document reports on support activity to customers
  • Provide timely billing invoices to customers for service activity

Requirements

  • Bachelor's level degree or work experience of 3 years
  • Preferred electrical engineering or electro-mechanical degree
