Organizes, coordinates, and leads worship services in accordance with the expressed spiritual preferences of the facility's residents, which may encompass a diverse array of faiths and belief systems (e.g., Christianity, Islam, Judaism).
Develops and arranges religious programs and educational sessions facilitated by community volunteers.
Offers spiritual and religious guidance to individuals and families consistently and during critical situations.
Provides ethical and spiritual support on a regular and emergency basis.
Enhances the effectiveness of volunteer initiatives.
Collaborates with other professional staff to deliver comprehensive care.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS for Spiritual Care Coordinator
Candidates must possess education, training, and/or experience demonstrating proficiency in each of the following areas:

A Master's degree or higher in Divinity or a related discipline. An ecclesiastical endorsement from a recognized religious organization and approval from that entity for institutional ministry. A minimum of six months of experience in clinical or institutional pastoral care. A minimum of six months of experience in individual or group counseling.
