Job Summary

ChristianaCare's Wilmington Adult Medicine is seeking a highly skilled and organized Medical Office Coordinator to join their team. As a Medical Office Coordinator, you will be responsible for handling various tasks such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and registering patients. You will also represent the practice and handle multi-line telephones, manage the front desktop, collect insurance payments, apply ICD9 and CPT4 codes for billing, and perform outreach calls.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • High School Graduate or GED required
  • Medical receptionist or medical assistant degree preferred but not required
  • Experience in a medical office setting or customer service environment is preferred but not required
