Job Summary

PROMESA R.H.C.F. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Supervisor to oversee the daily operations and performance of our Substance Use Disorder (SUD) program. The successful candidate will provide clinical oversight and quality assurance to all unlicensed and licensed staff clinicians, ensuring adherence to all applicable licensing, supervision, billing, and documentation requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Operations: Manage SUD program operations to budgeted and planned results, ensuring efficient use of resources and effective service delivery.
  • Staff Supervision: Work closely with staff via weekly supervision to ensure the completion of performance goals, provide ongoing feedback and performance evaluation, and solicit feedback from clinicians regarding supervision and needs.
  • Caseload Management: Monitor caseloads and ensure supervisees comply with all agency, clinical, legal, and ethical practices, reviewing and co-signing clinical documentation as needed.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee and monitor billable hours of service, provide support, training, and remediation as needed to assist supervisees in meeting program's billing expectations and caseload requirements.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Communicate any concerns about quality of clinician's work to the Program Director in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies, including OASAS, state, and federal regulations.
  • Partnerships and Community Relations: Assist with partnering opportunities, linkage/support agreements, and other critical relationships to drive census growth and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Training and Development: Identify and implement tactical steps to increase and retain census, identify training needs, and make recommendations to the Program Director, providing education and training opportunities to all staff as needed.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Participate collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team, facilitating daily huddle meetings, weekly case conferences, and group supervision, and contributing to a six-month and annual performance evaluations of clinical staff.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Must be a Qualified Health Professional (QHP) to provide clinical supervision in good standing with the appropriate licensing or certifying authority, as applicable. Education requirements include a Bachelor's or Master's degree, depending on the certification or licensure.
  • Experience: 3+ years of previous relevant clinical work experience in the substance use disorder field, with at least one year of supervisory experience.
  • Training and Certification: OASAS Substance Use Disorder training required to be completed within one year of hire date, including Medicated Assisted Treatment (MAT), Screening, Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT), Confidentiality, Canon of Ethics, Clinical Supervision I & II, and other required training.
  • Skills and Abilities: Ability to use business acumen to exercise good judgment and decision-making, deal with sensitive issues with diplomacy and discretion, multitask with strong organizational skills, and maintain a professional demeanor under pressure.
