Position Summary:
Reporting to the Director of Nursing, the Clinical Nurse Supervisor will oversee the healthcare and wellness programs, ensuring the delivery of personal care services to residents. This role involves conducting clinical assessments, supervising the implementation of individualized service plans, and maintaining resident safety within the facility. Flexibility in scheduling is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the healthcare delivery of services within the Assisted Living Residence.
- Engage in the assessment and screening of applicants to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures, providing recommendations to nursing leadership.
- Conduct assessments and reassessments for residents, determining their health needs and appropriate care levels.
- Document resident care and any changes in their health status as required.
- Assist in creating and executing individualized service plans based on assessment findings.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (BSN).
- Valid Registered Nurse license in New York State.
- Experience in staff supervision and medication management, ideally in Assisted Living or similar environments.
- Proficient in assessments, care planning, and reassessments.
- Strong leadership and management capabilities.
- Experience with Dementia and/or Alzheimer's patients is essential.
- A minimum of two years of experience in providing services to older adults or residents.
- Relevant experience may include home care, residential care, adult care facilities, rehabilitation, healthcare management, and nursing care provision.
Compensation: $105,000 to $110,000 annually, with a $5,000 bonus and excellent benefits.
