Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare examination rooms and assist healthcare providers during procedures and patient assessments.
- Gather and accurately record patient histories, vital signs, and other pertinent information.
- Educate patients regarding their health and treatment plans.
- Support physicians during examinations, diagnostic tests, and therapeutic interventions.
- Ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of medical instruments and equipment.
- Manage the inventory of medical supplies in examination areas as directed by the Nurse Manager.
- Communicate any challenges affecting the quality of care to the supervisor.
- Participate in additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven ability to lead and manage a healthcare team.
- Valid RN license in New York.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to interact effectively with physicians, patients, and healthcare staff.
- Positive attitude and a collaborative team spirit.
