Assembly Technician

NESCO Inc is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team in Danbury, CT. This is a temporary coverage position that could become a permanent role for the right candidate. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Job Summary:
The Assembly Technician will support the production team and assembly departments to ensure efficient processes. Key responsibilities include:
- Completing all assembly tasks as assigned.
- Working on complex assembly operations.
- Completing special assembly tasks as assigned.
- Completing necessary rework assembly.
- Ensuring accurate picking of parts for outbound orders.
- Packaging sub-components and finished products according to production order.
- Inspecting instructions and drawings.
- Mounting sub-component items.
- Working effectively within a team environment.
- Completing computer or administrative duties as assigned.
- Coordinating shipping arrangements.
- Completing all other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Previous assembly experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Basic software skills (SAP, printing labels, custom software).
- Mechanical ability.
- Strong time management skills and ability to multitask.
- Ability to work under strict deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to operate manufacturing equipment and simple electronic test equipment.
- Responsibility and reliability.
