Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development Strategy
    • Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve program growth and enrollment targets
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the San Francisco and Santa Clara County communities
  • Lead Generation
    • Generate new referral leads through external business development activities with potential referral sources
    • Develop and maintain a robust monthly referral pipeline
  • Marketing and Communications
    • Execute a marketing plan with effective messaging to build awareness of programs in the community
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead, supervise, and train Business Development staff to achieve business development, growth, and enrollment targets
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree required or Master's degree preferred
  • Experience
    • Minimum 5 years of business development experience in healthcare, particularly in organizations serving the geriatric population
    • Minimum 2 years of supervising and managing teams
  • Skills
    • Strong background and experience in business development in a B2B and/or professional services setting
    • Excellent leadership, consensus building, project management, PR, account management, and external relations skills
    • Ability to think, plan, and sell strategically
Preferred Qualifications
  • Language
    • Fluency in Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) is preferred
    • Fluency in other languages is an asset
  • Certifications
    • BLS and First Aid certification required
