About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Architect to join our Enterprise Technology Solutions team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure APIs that meet business requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and implementation of APIs, ensuring they meet business requirements and industry standards.
  • Establish and enforce API standards, best practices, and governance policies to ensure consistency, security, and performance across all API implementations.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring high-quality API solutions.
  • Monitor and optimize API performance, scalability, and security, implementing measures to protect against vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field or equivalent with 6+ years of API architecture experience.
  • Proficient in REST, GraphQL, and gRPC.
  • Experienced with API management platforms (Apigee, MuleSoft, AWS API Gateway, Azure API Management, Kong).
  • Knowledgeable in OAuth, JWT, API keys, and SAML.
  • Skilled in API design and documentation tools (Stoplight, Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman, RAML).
  • Proficient with API performance monitoring tools (New Relic, Datadog, Prometheus).
  • Experienced in integrating APIs with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Familiar with API testing tools (Postman, SoapUI, Junit).
  • Understanding of event-driven API architecture.
