We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Oncology Referral Specialist to join our team. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a critical role in facilitating the referral process for patients seeking subspecialty services.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for building relationships with physicians and patients, fostering existing connections and establishing new ones within the Oncology community. You will work autonomously to coordinate patient referrals, ensuring streamlined access to care and advocating for patients' needs throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster relationships with physicians and patients to facilitate the referral process
  • Coordinate patient referrals to ensure seamless access to care
  • Advocate for patients' needs and identify barriers to care
  • Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with healthcare providers

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred
  • 1-2 years of professional nursing experience, with previous outpatient/community service preferred
  • Experience in sub-specialties, such as Oncology, is a plus
  • RN license and/or compact state licensure in DC required

Estimated Salary: $90,000 - $130,000 per year
