Medical Oncology Infusion Specialist

Join Johns Hopkins Health System, a world-renowned institution, and become part of our dynamic team as a Medical Oncology Infusion RN. As a member of the Sibley Nursing Team, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in our state-of-the-art 318-bed private patient tower.

About the Role:

  • This full-time position is 40 hours/week with benefitted status.
  • You will work 10 hour day shifts M-F with flexible start times.
  • The Medical Oncology/Infusion Center has 37 chairs, providing a unique opportunity to make a difference in patients' lives.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the District of Columbia is required.
  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a Bachelor degree with second degree in Nursing is necessary.
  • Two years of RN experience, including one year dedicated to Oncology/hands-on chemotherapy experience, is preferred.
  • Excellent IV skills and knowledge of central line access and maintenance are essential.
  • Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification is highly valued, but not mandatory. You must obtain OCN certification within nine months of hire date.
  • Chemotherapy/Biotherapy course completion through ONS is also desired, with successful completion expected within three months of hire date.
  • AHA Basic Life Support certification is current.

Compensation:

The estimated salary range for this role is $43.57 per hour - $67.53 per hour. Your compensation will be commensurate with your equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
