Job Title: Front Desk Guest Service Agent

At Holiday Inn Hartford Downtown Area, we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Front Desk Guest Service Agent to join our team. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable stay for our guests.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide warm and welcoming service to guests, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently, handling any issues or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Process guest payments, handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests, providing information on hotel services, amenities, and local attractions.
  • Collaborate with the housekeeping team to ensure guest rooms are prepared and maintained to the highest standards.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge of hotel operations and services.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of excellence and guest satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous customer service experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and credit card transactions.
