Job Summary

The Behavioral Services Technician plays a vital role in providing exceptional patient care at St Mary's Health System. This dynamic position involves working collaboratively with registered nurses to ensure the well-being and comfort of patients during their stay. With a focus on direct and indirect patient care, this individual will contribute significantly to the success of our patient care team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess a High School Diploma/GED, preferably with State Maine CNA Certification. Basic Life Support certification is mandatory, while 1 year of experience in Behavioral Health Services is highly desirable. Additionally, college training in mental health technology, behavioral science, social work, or rehabilitation therapy may be substituted for experience based on academic credits earned. A responsible and supportive team player with excellent communication skills will thrive in this environment.
