The Behavioral Services Technician is an integral part of the patient care team, contributing to the well-being and comfort of patients during their stay by providing direct and indirect patient care under the direction of the registered nurse.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care services
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Maine CNA Certification preferred
  • BLS certification required
  • 1 year of experience in Behavioral Health Services
  • College training in mental health technology or equivalent may be substituted for experience
  • Crisis Prevention Institute training preferred
  • Ability to work well in high-stress situations
