Job Description

At Force America, we are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our Distribution team. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly and testing of hydraulic systems, including valves, pumps, motors, PTOs, and other products sold by Force America. Your unique assembly abilities will be essential in combining our own components with supplier products or bringing multiple supplier products together to provide an end product to our customers.

As a key member of our team, you will work closely with design engineers, support staff, and production teams to ensure quality and service. You will also be responsible for maintaining system accuracy by updating inventory records and assisting customers with needs assessment and repairs.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble hydraulic and pneumatic systems in accordance with work orders using hand and power tools.
  • Test all assembled systems for standard expectations of quality, quantity, and time.
  • Maintain system accuracy by updating inventory records.
  • Assist customers with needs assessment and complete repairs.
  • Coordinate with material handling, sales, and others to expedite orders.
  • Maintain a safe and orderly work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to prioritize to meet customer expectations.
  • Detail-oriented to provide the highest level of quality.
  • Customer-focused.
