Manufacturing Technician

Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). As an Avionics Assembly Technician, you will play a critical role in the success of this project by assembling and testing avionic LRUs, electrical-mechanical assemblies, and handling and installing fiber-optics.
Key Responsibilities- Champion safety requirements in all designated zones and work locations
- Assemble and test avionic LRUs, electrical-mechanical assemblies, and handle and install fiber-optics
- Ensure lab equipment is maintained and calibrated
- Support preventative maintenance activities on test equipment and data acquisition systems
- Identify equipment requirements, process improvements, and maintain floor stock inventory
- Execute test procedures for component and system level testing maintenance
- Receive shipments and coordinate deliveries with recipients
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years relevant high traceability manufacturing experience (Aerospace, Medical, or related field)
- 2+ years of hands-on work experience in Electrical-Mechanical Assembly, Final Integration, and/or Harness Integration
- 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced production environment
- 1+ year of hands-on experience with precision torque, measurement, and inspection devices
- Aircraft & Powerplant (A&P) and/or Avionics certification/license
- ASE certification and/or equivalent experience
- CFOT certification and/or equivalent experience
- 1+ year of reading, interpreting, and working from engineering documentation and/or drawings
- Experience working with FOD, ESD sensitive hardware, and clean room requirements
