Job Overview

The Normal Brand is an expanding clothing company that specializes in apparel and accessories available online and in numerous retail locations across the United States. We are excited to announce the opening of a new pop-up location and are seeking a dedicated, personable, and results-driven Retail Operations Supervisor. Each retail environment we create is distinct, emphasizing a clean, energetic, and enjoyable atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

  • Our mission is to enhance customers' experiences, promote our apparel, and foster a fun atmosphere.
  • Motivate, develop, and guide the team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales.
  • Establish and uphold high standards of customer service throughout the store and among team members.
  • Build and nurture relationships with our clientele.
  • Encourage upselling techniques to optimize sales performance.
  • Oversee inventory management and restock the sales floor as necessary.
  • Ensure the store and merchandise meet The Normal Brand's cleanliness and presentation standards.
  • Provide constructive insights on product performance to the Store Manager.
  • Mentor and support team members through effective communication.
  • Educate and train staff on product details and features.
  • Assist the Store Manager with various business operations.
  • Foster a respectful and positive communication environment.
  • Responsible for maintaining store security.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in retail apparel.
  • Willingness to learn from feedback and tackle challenges in a dynamic setting.
  • Experience in inventory management.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • A collaborative team player who enjoys their work and takes initiative.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
  • Independent, data-driven, competitive, and radiates positive energy.
  • Approachable and friendly demeanor.
  • Strong understanding of retail business practices.
  • Integrity in inventory management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Drive.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to new systems and processes.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Commitment to maintaining full-time status with 38-40 hours per week.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in retail management.
  • Background in the fashion/apparel sector.
  • Genuine passion for enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with Shopify and Shopify POS.
  • Strong ethical standards.
  • Excellent sense of style.
  • Self-awareness and humility.
  • Demonstrates a blend of ambition and emotional intelligence.
