Summersalt is seeking a Retail Operations Supervisor to assist in the launch of our new retail location.

This role is crucial in actualizing our retail vision by aiding in the initial setup of the store and partnering with the Store Manager to enhance revenue while managing daily operations that ensure an exceptional customer experience.

The Retail Operations Supervisor will work alongside the Store Manager to foster a high-performing team that achieves or surpasses objectives, while embodying the brand's spirit by creating an inviting atmosphere on the sales floor.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implement strategies and processes with a customer-focused approach to achieve results, boost store sales, and optimize efficiency and productivity.
Provide exceptional customer service and establish connections with every visitor to generate enthusiasm about our culture, products, and community.
Enhance team performance through mentoring, coaching, and delivering constructive feedback to develop skills.
Ensure merchandise is organized effectively and assist with store layouts, window displays, signage, and visual merchandising updates.
Support operational tasks as assigned, including shipment processing, stockroom organization, order fulfillment, and inventory oversight.
Build and maintain positive working relationships that promote a productive and inclusive work environment.
Relay customer feedback and market trends to the Store Manager.
Assist in talent acquisition efforts, particularly in onboarding and training new team members.
Ensure the team consistently meets their goals and exceeds customer expectations.
Oversee the sales floor, ensuring optimal staffing and placement of team members.
Be prepared to step in for other management roles as necessary.
Regular attendance is vital to this position to ensure adequate coverage for company objectives.

CANDIDATE PROFILE:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in retail sales or customer service required.
Experience in the fashion/apparel sector is preferred.
Proven ability to train and guide others.
Demonstrated initiative in decision-making.
Highly reliable and consistently punctual.
Customer-oriented with a strong understanding of creating outstanding customer experiences.
Technologically adept with the ability to navigate and train on POS/iPad/handheld systems.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including weekends and holidays.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Comfortable with physical tasks including climbing ladders, moving frequently, and standing for extended periods.
Able to lift, carry, and move items weighing at least 40 lbs.
Availability for a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
