This role will assist our Store Manager and retail team in various aspects of store management, including team leadership, inventory management, visual merchandising, and especially customer engagement. The ideal candidate will bring creativity, enthusiasm, and a proactive approach to our operations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold Tommy John's customer-first sales standards to ensure a positive shopping experience and meet sales targets.
  • Serve as a representative of our core values; lead by example and cultivate trust.
  • Address and resolve customer issues with professionalism and care.
  • Encourage team members to promote brand awareness through social media engagement.
  • Oversee sales transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with cash handling procedures.
  • Manage inventory processes, including rolling and annual counts.
  • Ensure returned merchandise is restocked appropriately and damaged items are handled correctly.
  • Promote brand standards in appearance and presentation among team members.
  • Communicate restocking needs and presentation standards to maintain a customer-ready environment.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment for both customers and staff.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team atmosphere.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • High School Diploma or higher (Bachelor's degree in Retail Merchandising, Business, or a related field preferred).
  • A minimum of 4 years of sales experience in a retail environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to delegate tasks effectively.
  • Approachable and attentive listener with the capability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Excellent organizational and merchandising skills, with a creative approach to driving business.
  • Ability to stand and move for extended periods, with short breaks.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
  • Capability to lift over 30 pounds.
