Job Title: Director of Human Resources

Stanford University is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Human Resources to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and support to our employees and management team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement HR strategies to support the university's goals and objectives
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and management on HR-related matters
  • Recruit, train, and develop HR staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality HR services
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and employee engagement
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on leadership and strategy
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HR initiatives
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification preferred
