Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Cyber Claims Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique chance to engage in the rapidly advancing domain of cyber insurance.

As a Senior Cyber Claims Specialist, you will manage intricate cyber claims and investigations, leveraging your knowledge in risk management and loss prevention.

You will collaborate with a dedicated team focused on safeguarding our clients against the escalating risks of cyber threats.

This is a permanent, full-time opportunity that provides a competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing a portfolio of complex cyber claims from initiation to resolution.
  • Conducting thorough investigations into cyber claims, including policy reviews, coverage verification, and liability assessment.
  • Working alongside IT experts, legal advisors, and other stakeholders to grasp the technical nuances of each claim.
  • Formulating and executing effective risk management strategies to minimize losses.
  • Negotiating settlements and managing litigation processes as required.
  • Offering expert guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Staying informed about the latest trends and advancements in cybercrime and cybersecurity.
  • Maintaining clear communication with policyholders, ensuring they are updated on their claim status.
  • Collaborating closely with underwriters to provide insights on policy language and coverage matters.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience as a Cyber Claims Specialist or in a comparable role.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex claims and conducting comprehensive investigations.
  • Strong understanding of risk management principles and loss mitigation strategies.
  • Familiarity with current cybersecurity trends and threats.
  • Exceptional negotiation and conflict resolution capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in utilizing software applications, including claims management systems.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
