Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Analyst to join our team at Houston Methodist. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support and configuration of assigned applications, as well as training and mentoring junior analysts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert-level support and configuration of assigned applications
  • Train and mentor junior analysts
  • Assist and support customers and junior analysts with the operation and administration of systems
  • Work with customers at all levels in the organization to enhance their understanding of available tools and improve operational efficiencies
  • Proactively manage and troubleshoot issues within related IT teams and manage change
  • Provide high-level administration of applications and ensure quality delivery of application availability
  • Ensure the services provided contribute to the successful accomplishment of the mission of the department
  • Make recommendations regarding budget projections and project management
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
  • Five years' experience in IT or clinical or business workflow
  • Certification in assigned application (e.g. Epic)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and ability to apply them to large-scale system implementation
  • Expert technical skills to support multiple applications and projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
