Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of complex business problems to identify opportunities for enhancing financial performance, portfolio management, and risk optimization.
  • Develop and improve data-driven models and systems to support business decision-making, including costing, portfolio management, and retail portfolio profitability.
  • Provide expert analysis on market fundamentals, risk exposure, and regulatory issues to enhance competitiveness and manage portfolio risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement statistical and predictive modeling techniques to build decision support systems.
  • Support the development of new business initiatives and products by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Accounting, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in the Retail Power, Gas, or energy industry.
  • Knowledge of market mechanisms within one or more of the following ISOs: ERCOT, PJM, ISO-NE, or NYISO.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, R, Python, or Stata.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Microsoft Power BI or PowerPivot.
