Job Overview

Position Title: Environmental Service Worker

Employment Type: Full-Time Days, 30 hours per week

The Environmental Service Worker plays a vital role in supporting our mission by ensuring a sanitary environment for both residents and staff. This position involves routine cleaning of resident rooms, hallways, offices, and other designated areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Thoroughly cleans resident rooms, break rooms, nursing stations, hallways, offices, and other assigned spaces.
  • Conducts daily cleaning tasks following infection control and universal precaution protocols.
  • Maintains confidentiality and upholds residents' rights.
  • Adheres to the dress code as per departmental guidelines.
  • Treats all residents with kindness and respect.
  • Ensures that floors are clear of hazardous materials.
  • Employs proper body mechanics during lifting tasks.
  • Safeguards and maintains all work areas in compliance with facility safety regulations.
  • Completes tasks such as washing over-the-bed lights, cleaning pictures and wall objects, wall washing, and baseboard cleaning as assigned.
  • Performs additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED is preferred.
