The Environmental Service Worker plays a crucial role in upholding our mission and values by ensuring a hygienic environment for both residents and staff. This role involves routine sanitation of resident rooms, hallways, offices, and other designated areas.

The primary duties of the Environmental Service Worker include:

  • Sanitizing resident rooms, break areas, nursing stations, hallways, offices, and other assigned spaces.
  • Executing daily tasks in line with infection control and universal precaution protocols.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and respecting residents' rights.
  • Adhering to the dress code as per departmental guidelines.
  • Demonstrating kindness and respect towards all residents.
  • Ensuring that floors are free from hazardous materials.
  • Utilizing proper body mechanics during lifting tasks.
  • Protecting and maintaining all work areas in accordance with safety policies.
  • Performing additional cleaning tasks such as washing over-the-bed lights, wall decorations, and baseboards as assigned.
  • Completing other responsibilities as required.

Qualifications for this Role:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED is preferred.
