The Environmental Service Worker plays a crucial role in upholding our mission and values by ensuring a hygienic environment for both residents and staff. This role involves routine sanitation of resident rooms, hallways, offices, and other designated areas.
The primary duties of the Environmental Service Worker include:
- Sanitizing resident rooms, break areas, nursing stations, hallways, offices, and other assigned spaces.
- Executing daily tasks in line with infection control and universal precaution protocols.
- Maintaining confidentiality and respecting residents' rights.
- Adhering to the dress code as per departmental guidelines.
- Demonstrating kindness and respect towards all residents.
- Ensuring that floors are free from hazardous materials.
- Utilizing proper body mechanics during lifting tasks.
- Protecting and maintaining all work areas in accordance with safety policies.
- Performing additional cleaning tasks such as washing over-the-bed lights, wall decorations, and baseboards as assigned.
- Completing other responsibilities as required.
Qualifications for this Role:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
