As an HVAC Installation Assistant, you will support the Installer or Lead Installer in the setup of residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Installer or Lead Installer in the installation of HVAC systems and components in residential settings.
  • Support the installation of heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems according to company and manufacturer guidelines.
  • Help with the setup of ductwork and related fittings.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Assist in the transportation and setup of necessary equipment for installation tasks.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of company property, tools, and vehicles.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Represent the company with professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the installation vehicle.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Demonstrate regular and reliable attendance.

Health and Safety Responsibilities:

  • Report any unsafe conditions or acts to your supervisor immediately.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Utilize personal protective equipment as required.
  • Participate in safety initiatives and report any incidents as per company guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED, with technical training preferred.
  • 0 to 2 years of experience in HVAC, with relevant certifications.
  • Valid licensing or certification as required by local regulations.
  • Basic understanding of HVAC systems and components.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate necessary tools.
  • Effective communication skills for customer interactions.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting and climbing.
