Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Installer or Lead Installer in the setup of HVAC systems and components in residential and light commercial settings.
  • Support the installation of heating, cooling, ventilation, and refrigeration systems, adhering to company and manufacturer standards.
  • Help with the installation of ductwork and fittings.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Assist in the transport and setup of necessary equipment for installation tasks.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and accountability of company property, vehicles, and tools.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Represent the company with professionalism and integrity in all interactions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the installation vehicle.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Demonstrate regular and reliable attendance.

Health and Safety Responsibilities:

  • Immediately report any unsafe conditions or actions to your supervisor.
  • Notify management of any violations of company policies or safety regulations.
  • Address substandard practices within your control.
  • Utilize and maintain appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Comply with all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Participate in safety initiatives and report any incidents as required.
  • Contribute to the development of safety plans to minimize risks.
  • Adhere to all legislative safety requirements.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED; technical training and 0-2 years of HVAC experience preferred.
  • Valid licenses or certifications as mandated by local regulations.
  • EPA and safety certifications are required.
  • Basic understanding of HVAC systems and components.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate necessary tools.
  • Basic skills in interpreting wiring diagrams.
  • Strong communication skills for effective customer interaction.
  • Good time management and organizational abilities.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and on-call shifts.
  • Physical ability to navigate various environments and lift up to 75 pounds.
