Position Overview
The Commercial Appeals and Grievances team is dedicated to conducting thorough investigations regarding member complaints, appeals, and grievances.

The Operations Specialist in this area will report directly to a Supervisor within the Commercial Appeals and Grievances team.

Key Responsibilities
In this position, you will collaborate with the leadership team to ensure that all Desk Level Procedures (DLPs) are maintained accurately and are current. Your role will involve:

  • Acting as a subject matter expert to analyze operational workflows, pinpoint issues, conduct root cause analysis, and propose enhancements.
  • Maintaining essential databases for operational efficiency.
  • Creating and assessing tools and resources that improve the efficiency, accuracy, and technical capabilities of team members.
  • Generating reports for management review and alerting relevant department managers about operational workflow issues that require immediate attention.
  • Participating as a subject matter expert in the formulation of written guidelines and documenting issues as necessary.
  • Supporting the leadership team through ongoing and future system changes and enhancements.
  • Facilitating employee engagement initiatives.
  • Performing additional tasks as required.

Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Appeals & Grievances.
  • Knowledge of the field typically gained through experience.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, along with strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to work independently and consistently meet deadlines.

Compensation
The salary range for this position is between $66,800 and $93,400.
