As a key member of the Blue Shield of California team, you will play a critical role in supporting the implementation of Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) by serving as a backend integration Mulesoft Developer. This position requires a strong understanding of business requirements and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, including Business/Technology leaders, Enterprise Architects, and End Users, to develop a proposed solution.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Apply software engineering concepts and processes to software development, ensuring the adoption of best practices.
- Contribute to the design and technical specification of integrations, providing input and expertise to ensure seamless integration.
- Develop user interfaces and application programs using technical specifications and design documents, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
- Test, debug, and maintain code according to technical specifications, ensuring the reliability and stability of systems and applications.
- Provide knowledge transfer to less experienced staff, promoting the growth and development of the team.
- Collaborate in creating, refining, and maintaining user stories and associated deliverables, such as process flows and test cases, to meet development and stakeholder needs.
- Participate actively in agile ceremonies, including daily standup, sprint planning, retrospective, and demos, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Improve the reliability and utilization of systems and applications, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Monitor software configuration changes to anticipate and address potential data reliability and customer satisfaction issues.
- Coordinate sustaining support for application platforms and business processes, ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality services.
- Demonstrate leadership skills in services development, services adoption, and service governance, driving the adoption of best practices and promoting a culture of excellence.
- Proactively address potential system issues to meet or exceed established timelines and deliver services within budget constraints, seeking opportunities to reduce application-related costs.
