Job Responsibilities:
Serves as a primary and secondary resource for the provision of Central Business Office (CBO) services to educational district clients, encompassing general ledger management, procurement, internal claims auditing, payroll processing, accounts payable, and other financial operations necessitating a high level of precision.
Provides administrative support for Finance & Legislation Services (F&L) initiatives and programs, including business office analytics, GASB 75 compliance, SMEC, and related business office planning and support services.
Facilitates logistical arrangements for workshops and professional development sessions offered to educational district clients.Assists in the reconciliation and monitoring of the BOCES participation process for pertinent departmental services.
Contributes to the compilation of data and reports essential for departmental budget formulation and oversight.
Engages and communicates in a professional and confidential manner with educational district clients and associated personnel regarding the services rendered.
Performs meticulous work and completes assignments promptly in a dynamic, deadline-driven, and time-sensitive environment.Organizes and prioritizes among competing tasks and, in this regard, operates effectively both as a team member and independently.
Collaborates with and provides assistance to other clerical personnel to fulfill the needs of educational district clients and services.May assist in the training and onboarding of new team members.
Supports the scheduling, preparation, and facilitation of meetings with educational district clients.
Additional duties may be assigned that align with the civil service job description for this title.
