Job Title: Deputy Clerk - Plantation Key

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Deputy Clerk - Plantation Key. This role is responsible for performing a wide range of clerical duties related to civil, criminal, traffic, and/or misdemeanor cases filed with the Monroe County circuit and/or county courts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Clerk's Odyssey Case Management System.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to the public, attorneys, and court officials by responding to inquiries and disseminating information regarding court rules and procedures.
  • Work closely with the Court Manager, Court Supervisor, judiciary, and other Deputy Clerks to ensure seamless court operations.
  • Perform cashiering functions and provide back-up support as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Court Manager or Court Supervisor.
Requirements:
  • High school graduate or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma.
  • Ability to use Word processing and enter, retrieve, and manage data into the case management system.
  • Record keeping skills and ability to maintain close attention to details.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and the general public.
Working Conditions:

This is an entry-level position that requires minimal supervision. The Deputy Clerk - Plantation Key works closely with the Court Manager, Court Supervisor, judiciary, and other Deputy Clerks to ensure seamless court operations.
