Job Summary

YWCA Dayton is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Client Support Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our crisis services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of survivors of domestic violence, intimate partner violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and stalking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to crisis service requests, providing supportive listening and service linkage to survivors and their families.
  • Assess potential shelter clients for eligibility and provide alternative options for those who cannot be accommodated.
  • Provide support in shelter, ensuring 24-hour coverage, including intake paperwork, general shelter oversight, and other duties as needed.
  • Complete and maintain all relevant documentation, including intake packets, call logs, and hotline contact sheets.
  • Assist facilities and operations in maintaining the cleanliness of shelter and the availability of basic needs for clients.
  • Maintain thorough, up-to-date knowledge of community resources and YWCA Dayton service areas to ensure effective referrals.
Requirements
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, and conflict resolution techniques.
  • Active driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Understanding of racial equity and social justice issues and a demonstrated sensitivity to the needs of those we serve.
