About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned communications professional to join our team at Synopsys as a Strategic Communications Specialist. This role will play a critical part in enhancing the visibility and influence of our executives through strategic speaking engagements and communications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Help scale and support our comprehensive executive communication strategy, ensuring alignment with our corporate vision and key corporate messages.
  • Manage a speakers bureau program/process to provide visibility into external events where our executives are presenting.
  • Help build speaking platforms for key executives, partnering with marketing and PR to maximize the impact.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional partners to create engaging executive content and presentations for external speaking opportunities.
  • Act as a strategic communications advisor and partner for executives and key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Operationalize our corporate narrative, including auditing, activating, and maintaining consistent and compelling messaging and related resources.
  • Develop executive social media recommendations in support of executive and business priorities.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of communications experience.
  • Degree-level qualification in journalism, English, communications, engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience shaping and executing technology industry communications programs.
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex technical information into accessible language.
  • Ability to advise and influence senior leaders on communications approach and messaging.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong program management skills and excellent cross-functional collaboration.
  • Self-starter with the ability to handle various projects simultaneously, manage priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing needs.
