Client Relationship Banker

The Client Relationship Banker position is an entry-level role focused on supporting the execution of sales and service initiatives in collaboration with the customer service team. The primary goal of this position is to cultivate relationships with clients to enhance loyalty and drive sales among individual consumer accounts.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Manage business credit applications under $250K, identify and refer larger lending prospects, and promote treasury and related small business offerings.
+ Develop referral business opportunities through Centers of Influence (COIs) and the Member Get Member (MGM) initiative.
+ Assist in strategies aimed at expanding the small business client base and implement effective sales plans targeting existing customers.
+ Provide client services through outbound and inbound calls to establish new relationships and strengthen existing ones by cross-selling relevant products and services while ensuring an exceptional client experience.
+ Offer coaching and support to Tellers and other branch personnel regarding products and special programs, identifying client needs, and making suitable referrals.
+ Recognize clients' transaction requirements, educate them on all service and digital channels, and utilize available technology and marketing tools to uncover opportunities and present product offers and financial solutions.
+ Adhere to Citibank policies, standards, and procedures.
+ Evaluate risks in business decisions, demonstrating careful consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and applying sound ethical judgment in personal conduct and business practices.
**Qualifications:**
+ 0-2 years of relevant experience.
+ Previous experience in banking, retail, or sales is preferred.
+ Familiarity with Smart Banking tools and technologies.
+ NMLS registration; compliance with the Safe Act.
+ Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats.
**Education:**
+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
