The Financial Services Associate position is an entry-level role focused on supporting the execution of sales, product offerings, and service initiatives in collaboration with the customer service team. The primary aim of this position is to cultivate relationships with clients to enhance loyalty and drive sales among individual consumer accounts.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ Manage business credit applications under $250K, identify and refer larger lending prospects, and promote treasury and related small business offerings.

+ Develop referral business opportunities through Centers of Influence (COIs) and the Member Get Member (MGM) initiative.

+ Contribute to strategies aimed at expanding the small business client base and implement effective sales plans targeting Book of Business customers.

+ Provide client services through outbound and inbound calls to establish new relationships and strengthen existing ones by cross-selling relevant products and services while ensuring an exceptional client experience.

+ Offer coaching and guidance to Tellers and other branch personnel regarding products and special programs, identifying client needs, and making suitable referrals.

+ Assess transaction needs of clients, educate them on all service and digital channels, and utilize available technology and marketing tools to uncover opportunities and present product offers and financial solutions.

+ Adhere to Citibank policies, standards, and procedures.

+ Evaluate risks in business decisions, ensuring consideration for the firm's reputation and the protection of Citigroup, its clients, and assets by ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, applying sound ethical judgment in personal conduct and business practices, and transparently managing and reporting control issues.

**Qualifications:**

+ 0-2 years of relevant experience.

+ Preferred background in banking, retail, or sales.

+ Familiarity with Smart Banking tools and technologies.

+ NMLS registration; compliance with the Safe Act.

+ Demonstrated proficiency in clear and concise written and verbal communication.

**Education:**

+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
