About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Construction Team Lead to join our Construction Services team at Foth. As a key member of our Infrastructure Solutions business, you will be responsible for leading construction management activities, facilitating coordination between design staff and construction observers, and mentoring and supporting construction observers in resolving technical issues and providing training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead construction management activities, ensuring seamless coordination between design staff and construction observers.
  • Mentor and support construction observers in resolving technical issues and providing training.
  • Manage construction schedules, particularly for municipal projects, to ensure timely completion and client satisfaction.
  • Contribute to estimating, contracting, and construction processes throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and client specifications.
  • Assist in planning and design activities during periods of low construction activity, leveraging your expertise to drive project success.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with project engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project success and client satisfaction.
  • Provide valuable input during project constructability reviews, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and within budget.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and assist with process start-up, ensuring that all projects meet or exceed client expectations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; or equivalent technical experience.
  • Minimum eight years of experience in the construction field, with a minimum of three years in a construction management role.
  • Proficiency in engineering principles and practices related to the design, construction, and maintenance of public infrastructure, specifically including utilities, roadways, and sewer/water facilities.
