The Project Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the entire construction process, ensuring projects are completed profitably while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This position involves cultivating positive relationships with clients and design professionals. The Project Manager collaborates closely with the onsite Project Superintendent to manage all field crews, material suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring the successful delivery of each project.

  • Facilitate all pre-construction coordination meetings with clients, architects, the SCC project team, and subcontractors.
  • Develop and maintain the project schedule in conjunction with the Project Superintendent, making updates as necessary to reflect the current status.
  • Conduct weekly onsite meetings with the SCC project team and subcontractors to ensure alignment and progress.
  • Coordinate with the Project Superintendent, Yard Superintendent, and Field Resource Manager regarding all SCC-owned equipment, materials, and labor.
  • Establish and manage a job cost spreadsheet, overseeing all purchase orders, change orders, submittals, RFIs, and proposals.
  • Prepare project closeout documents for a seamless transition to the client.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with a general contractor or construction management firm managing new construction projects valued at $10M or more.
