The Project Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the entire construction process, ensuring projects are completed profitably while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. This position involves cultivating positive relationships with clients and design teams, as well as collaborating closely with the onsite Project Superintendent to manage all field operations, material suppliers, and subcontractors effectively.

  • Facilitate all pre-construction coordination meetings with clients, architects, and the project team.
  • Develop and maintain the project schedule in conjunction with the Project Superintendent, making updates as needed.
  • Lead weekly onsite meetings with the project team and subcontractors to ensure alignment.
  • Coordinate with the Project Superintendent and resource managers for equipment, materials, and labor needs.
  • Manage the job cost spreadsheet, including purchase orders, change orders, submittals, RFIs, and proposals.
  • Prepare project closeout documentation for handover to the client.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a general contracting or construction management role, specifically managing new construction projects valued at $10M or more.
