About the Role:
This is a key position that requires a strong leader to oversee construction sites, ensure work is carried out according to plans and specifications, and guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing construction projects, supervising a team, and resolving issues in a timely and effective manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise construction sites to ensure work is carried out according to plans and specifications
- Allocate daily and general responsibilities to team members
- Ensure workforce and resources are adequate to meet project requirements
- Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met
- Supervise and train crew members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete tasks efficiently
- Resolve issues that arise during construction, including conflicts with team members, suppliers, or clients
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Construction Supervisor or equivalent role
- 2+ years' experience of concrete foundation work
- Knowledge of construction management and construction site operations
- Proficiency with field layout using 2D laser levels and transit levels
- Proficiency in using construction management software
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and plans
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills to manage a team effectively
