We seek an Assistant Operations Manager who possesses:

  • A valid cosmetology license for the relevant state.
  • Expertise in shampooing, blow-drying, and exceptional hair styling and finishing techniques, with the ability to complete a blowout in under 45 minutes.
  • Experience supervising shop personnel during assigned shifts, including Bartenders, Stylists, and Shift Leads.
  • Leadership skills to enhance team performance, client satisfaction, product sales, cost management, staffing, team development, and membership sales.
  • A commitment to fostering talent development within the shop to optimize performance, drive revenue, and meet annual business objectives.
  • Collaboration with Human Resources to promote employee relations, performance management, culture and development, values, safety initiatives, and training.
  • Oversight of shop inventory, including regular checks of back bar and retail supplies, and placing orders as necessary to maintain supply standards.
  • Close collaboration with the Area Manager to maximize the shop's financial potential by achieving daily sales targets and adhering to labor budget goals.
  • Training new staff on the use of Booker and Drybar's core values, ensuring Stylists complete blowouts in under 45 minutes.
  • A passion for delivering outstanding service to both clients and staff, employing problem-solving strategies and maintaining situational awareness.
  • Accountability for reporting all shop inventory, regularly checking retail supplies, and assisting with product stocking.
  • Strong communication abilities and a dedication to customer service excellence.
  • Ensuring compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as federal, state, and local regulations, including adherence to Drybar's timekeeping and supervisory policies.
  • Timely reporting of all hours worked for oneself and others.
