Assistant Manager - Car Wash at Soapy Joe's

Job Summary:

Soapy Joe's Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at our Car Wash location in Sorrento Valley/Mira Mesa. As an Assistant Manager, you will be responsible for driving performance, engaging the team, delighting customers, and mentoring and coaching team members to achieve excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspire and lead the team to achieve performance goals and objectives.
  • Engage the team in safety, operational improvement, and excellence initiatives.
  • Delight customers by ensuring every interaction is positive and memorable.
  • Mentor and coach team members to develop their skills and abilities.
  • Stay compliant with company policies and local regulations.
  • Manage facilities to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Report performance to Site and District Managers.
  • Boost efficiency by increasing car counts, reducing downtime, and minimizing errors.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 2 years of management experience, or combination of training, school, and experience.
  • Required to be physically capable of executing all essential functions to perform the job with or without accommodation.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, nights and weekends.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and mobile applications.
  • Strong communication skills, leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and time management expertise.
  • Ability to lead without the need for direct authority.
  • Effective decision-making skills; gathers and analyzes data; arrives at timely decisions.
  • Hands-on, pragmatic work style and leadership.
